The 1st Steppe Forward Technical Conference was held in Toledo. These technical conferences were created with the desire for the different stakeholders involved (administrations, energy sector, scientific community, environmental consultants, etc.) to meet annually and transfer and discuss relevant aspects related to photovoltaic development and biodiversity conservation.

This year, the conference was titled “Environmental fallows in steppe areas. Importance, management and implementation models as a compensatory measure for photovoltaic projects”, featuring 10 presentations and 1 high-level technical and scientific debate panel. The event was a great success, with 116 attendees, who highly valued the event's development and usefulness.
